Beginner's Guide to Duel Corp.

Image
I had no idea that a procedurally generated souls-like game was something that I was looking for until I tried out Duel Corp. Challenging gameplay, randomized areas, and the promise to build your own character is what initially attracted me to the game. Twenty hours in, I could not let go of this game as I am addicted! And since souls-like games don't exactly hold your hand to guide you, this is my attempt to at least provide you some semblance of hand-holding.  There are so far, six Duel Corp character classes to choose from (for now, in the writing of this guide while it is still in Early Access on Steam). And as mentioned earlier, you can build your own character, so these classes are just stepping stones of the main stat that you would like to lean into. Included in the image below are the the classes, their main stat, and the starting accessory that they have. It is important to note that you do not start with any skill, spell, or ability whatsoever.  To help build your c...

Aloe Vera for Face Skin Care

Image
"Yup, this is my face now," I tell myself seeing my dry skin as I look into the mirror. But it doesn't have to be. As I went back to my bedroom, I saw the tub of aloe vera gel staring at me. I remembered testing it out on my skin before to see just how "soothing" it was. "Sure, why not?" I say as I slather the gel and massage it to my face. I have been doing this as my before-bedtime routine for around five days now and so far, I've been surprised with the results. After taking a shower and patting my face dry, I apply two fingers-worth of the aloe vera gel onto my face, massage it a bit, and let it dry in front of my fan. Immediately, the "soothing" effect hits you, bringing a cool feeling to the skin. While that lasts only temporarily, what does last is your skin feeling hydrated.  The next day, when I wake up, I noticed how my face feels a lot more supple, with a good sheen to it, compared to being just dull, and sadly, flaky in some p...

Heartopia - Best Cozy Game of 2026

Image
While the claims of Heartopia being "Best Cozy Game of 2026" (for me) might still be too early to say, especially since we're still just starting the year, the multiplayer life simulation with gacha mechanics sure hits the spot when it comes to kicking back and living a fantasy utopian life.  Having played Heartopia since it became playable on mobile and on PC (via their official website ), I had the great pleasure of participating in the various activities, hobbies, events, and mischief the game has to offer.  The game can be compared to Animal Crossing with the freedom the it gives you when it comes to doing daily life activities, which are called Hobbies. What sets it apart from Animal Crossing, in my opinion, is that while you have the freedom to do what you want, there are still objectives for you to do. These objectives are given by the multitude of NPCs in the island, various Hobby milestones which you level up just by doing the activity, and the sprinkling of even...

Wuthing Waves: Mornye Build So Far

Image
Energy regen of 300 allows Wuthering Waves' Mornye to start out the battle, ult, and outro really fast.  The first time I saw Mornye, I knew I had to pull for her. She has such a unique look (with her prosthetic legs), a fragile, ethereal air, beams surrounding enemies, heal and buff allies, and the ability to fly. True enough, she has been a staple in my party, finally allowing Shore Keeper to rest after so many updates of her supporting my different team.   Was fortunate enough to pull for her signature weapon, Starfield Calibrator, which really helps boost her Energy Regen. Although, I believe the 4-star weapon Discord is a good substitute if you can't pull for her weapon.  For her Echo Set, Wuthering Waves made sure we get a set especially made for Mornye. Halo of Starry Radiance works best for her, in my opinion, since not only does it increase healing bonus, but it also increases All-Attribute Damage bonus of every Resonator in your team depending on ...
